Agreed, this sin city may not be the cultural capital of our world, however, one should also not take it to be only synonymous with nightclubs, casinos, or cigarette smoke. If gambling is not your cup of tea there are so many other fun things to do in Las Vegas! One thing that this city guarantee to all its visitors is – FUN!

1. Tour the Grand Canyon in a helicopter.
For even the fittest adults, hiking down and back up the canyon is a challenge. Not only will a helicopter ride be an absolute thrill for your kids, but it will also take you to the bottom and let you explore.
2. Go skiing.
Now I realize that a jacket is not something you pack when you’re going to the desert, but it should be. From November to sometime in April, just an hour outside Vegas, the Las Vegas Ski and snowboard resort, providing over 300 acres of snow covered mountain is the place to hang out with the kids.
3. Take a boat ride on Lake Mead.
Just outside the city is the scenic Lake Mead. It is a largely undiscovered national park. You don’t have to worry about privacy as there are over 100 miles to explore. Rentals are available at the Marina.
4. Zipline over Fremont Street.
If you ever wondered how it feels to soar over Vegas, this is the place to go. The Fremont Flightlinez are affordable at only $20 per person but keep in mind that you have to be at least 60 lbs.
5. See the Bellagio fountain show.
Just inside the door to the Bellagio, is a little stand where you will get the best handmade gelato. 5 dollars will get you a cup to occupy your taste buds as you feast your eyes on the dancing water and lights.
6. Get married. Again.
What would a trip to Vegas be without a wedding? Your kids will without a doubt enjoy seeing Elvis renew your wedding vows. You can then take a limo ride around town and back to your hotel.
7. See the circus.
Acrobats and jugglers are not just for kids, especially the ones at circus. This is a freebie that’s indoors provided by a local casino.
8. Go to the Mirage.
Watch the Mirage Volcano erupt. Every night, between 7 Pm and midnight bursts of flames burst out dancing to music.
9. See Siegfried and Roy’s white tiger habitat.
This is another attraction located just inside the Mirage. The white tigers are a rare treat for adults and children alike.
10. View the Mirage Aquarium.
Located at the front desk of the mirage is a massive aquarium that features more than 1000 different species. As you walk into the Mirage, there is the tropical forest which is a 100-foot dome full of plant life and a grand waterfall.
Sin City does not have to be all about gambling and hard partying; there are lots of fun things to do that are family-friendly so don’t be worried about taking your kids to Vegas.
