Atma Shanti Mantra: Shloka For The Peace Of The Departed Soul

Atma Shanti Mantra: According to Sanatan Dharma, the soul never dies. However, after the death of the body, family members, relatives and friends are in mourning. Atma Shanti Mantra After Death In Sanskrit

1. Verse (Sanskrit shloka for departed soul): Prakritim Swamvashtabhya Visarjami Punah Punah। Bhootgramamim Kritsnamvasham prakratevarshat।। (sanskrit: प्रकृतिम स्वामवष्टभ्य विसृजामि पुन: पुन:। भूतग्राममिमं कृत्स्नमवशम प्रकृतेर्वशात।।)

Meaning: Lord Shri Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita that I am the creator and the conscious soul of the creatures. The title of the subtle body of the universe is the inferior nature of Brahma. The act of giving consciousness to nature is the grace of Brahma, by which nature attains growth and takes the form of a world tree. If the Supreme Consciousness from Brahma does not identify with Prakriti (Maya) or is not expressed in it, then Prakriti itself being inert cannot create any living being. I create this entire community in the form of lust again and again. After attaining the consciousness of the soul, the living beings cannot remain without manifestation, because they are under the control of nature. By controlling nature, I create again and again this entire community of living beings, which have become dependent on nature.

2. Sanskirt Shloka: Janmavanyadi Lokesminstarhitammrityurnavgat. Tasmad parharyoyam mrityujanmavatansada.

Shloka in Sanskirt: जन्मवान्यदि लोकेऽस्मिंस्तर्हितंमृत्युरन्वगात्। तस्माद परिहार्योऽयं मृत्युँजन्मवताँसदा।।

Meaning: The death of the one who is born is certain. The one who has come to this land has to leave here one day. It is inevitable and cannot be avoided.
